The Prestigious Turner Prize Nominees Include New Zealand Artist

The Turner Prize, named after the artist J.M.W. Turner, was first established in 1984, in the United Kingdom. It is judged by an independent panel, and awarded to a visual artist. The lucky nominees not only have a chance of winning £25,000, but their selected piece will be displayed in the Tate Gallery in London, one of the art world’s most important places.
