This abstract art exhibition celebrates and explores arts, shapes and colour inspired by the Pacific. It strays away from the traditional 20th century style abstract art that many are familiar with.
The exhibit opened in March and is around all year long. It is located in the Toi Art gallery, a beautiful new gallery spanning almost 4000 square feet. This makes it a great place for a summer date night or a solo stroll on a hot summer evening.
- I want to go to my bedroom but I can’t be bothered is another exhibit to visit in the Toi Art gallery. It explores a 30 year journey taken by Lisa Walker, exploring her challenging of the norm since the 1980’s. She has continued to challenge the notion that jewelry does not equate to femininity and well behaved women. Jewelry is an expression as much as anything else.
